Data we collect
You do not need an account or to give us personal data to use the chat. When you email us or book a call on Cal.com we collect your name, email and any message. With your consent we also collect aggregate site usage statistics through Google Analytics 4. When you use the chat, the text of your messages is sent to OpenAI, which generates the answers on our behalf; the conversation stays tied to your browser, through a technical cookie, for 7 days. To protect the chat from abuse we use Cloudflare Turnstile and a pseudonymous visitor identifier that contains neither your name nor your e-mail.
Purposes
Creating a secure session, enabling the chat, preventing abuse, replying to your request and handling bookings. With your consent, measuring in aggregate how the site is used and how many consultation requests we receive. Any further commercial communication requires separate, explicit consent.
Legal basis
Pre-contractual measures requested by the data subject (art. 6.1.b GDPR) for chat, requests and bookings; legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f) for security, abuse prevention and technical operation; consent (art. 6.1.a) for Google Analytics 4 statistics and for any marketing.
Usage statistics
We count visits in aggregate with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not identify individual visitors: this count runs for every visitor. Google Analytics 4 is loaded only if you accept it in the banner; without consent no data is sent to Google. We do no advertising tracking, remarketing or advertising profiling. The aggregate count by Cloudflare relies on our legitimate interest and identifies no individual visitor; you can object at any time (GDPR art. 21) by writing to the address above.
Retention
Emails and requests: up to 24 months from the last meaningful interaction. The technical chat cookie expires after 7 days. Google Analytics 4 data is retained for 2 months. Your cookie choice stays on your device for 6 months. Chat conversations: 7 days. OpenAI keeps its abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days. Accounting data, if you become a client: 10 years, as tax law requires.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and you can withdraw consent at any time as easily as you gave it. To exercise them write to [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it).
Providers and transfers
Cloudflare handles hosting, database, anti-abuse protection (Turnstile) and aggregate statistics; OpenAI processes the chat messages and generates the answers; Google Ireland Limited provides Google Analytics 4; Cal.com handles bookings. According to OpenAI documentation, data sent through the API is not used to train its models and processing takes place in the United States unless EU residency is enabled. Typefaces and icons are served from our own domain: showing you these pages contacts no external service. Some processing may take place outside the EU under the safeguards declared by those providers, including Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.
Do you have to give us this data?
No: browsing the site requires none. Using the chat requires no data, and answering you or booking a call requires an e-mail and a message: without them that service cannot be provided, but the rest of the site stays available. We take no automated decisions producing legal effects on you: the chat answers are informative and do not replace a human assessment.
